Movie: My journey not easy: Nisho

Popular actor Afran Nisho and National Film Award-winning director Redoan Rony are teaming up for the first time with the film Dom.

The movie is being made with a target release during Eid-ul-Fitr next year. Recently, the actor was spotted in a remote location in Kazakhstan.

In a recent interview, Afran Nisho spoke about Dom. He said, “Redoan Rony is making a comeback after a long time. He is a very good, dedicated person.

He has been deeply engaged with the story and has been writing it for a long time. This will be the very first survival story in the history of Bangladeshi cinema.”

Nisho further added, “I absolutely loved the story. After hearing the script, I immersed myself into the character. It’s a beautiful story, and if Shakil and Rony can edit it well, then it may turn out to be a truly remarkable film.”

Finally, Nisho said, “Good actors will be needed, and I must perform well. My journey is very difficult, painful, and I will have to work extremely hard for this character.”

Afran Nisho and Chanchal Chowdhury will star in Dom. The lead female role has not yet been finalized. Produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment and Chorki, Dom is set to be released during Ramadan Eid in 2026. The team is expected to begin shooting soon.
