The 41st Academic Council meeting of Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) was held Tuesday (September 9) at the university’s conference room on its permanent campus, Bayezid Arefin Nagar.
The meeting, chaired by Vice-Chancellor (Acting) Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman, was attended by Trust Secretary Professor Sarwar Jahan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law Professor Chowdhury Mohammad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Professor Dr. Israt Jahan, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Professor Dr. Engineer Mozammel Haque, Professor Dr. Saleh Zahur, Professor Dr. Md. Shawkatul Meher, Professor Mohiuddin Khaled, Professor Engineer Ashutosh Nath, Registrar AFM Modachher Ali, Controller of Examinations Dr. Bijoy Shankar Barua and heads of all departments and others.
The meeting discussed various academic issues including progress regarding approval and approved the decisions of the last 40th meeting and the proposals adopted by the academic meetings of various departments.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman expressed the hope that Southern University will move forward through quality and up-to-date education through the joint efforts of everyone.
