However, the success of the movie was overshadowed by the song ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab’.
The song can still be heard playing at various events. The song’s views on YouTube also give a hint of its popularity.
The song, which was released on the Anupam Movie Songs YouTube channel seven years ago, has about 52 million views.
The song ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab’ was sung by Khalid Hasan Milu and Kanakchapa.
Written and composed by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul. The song is returning in a new arrangement after more than two decades.
The new song, produced under the banner of Anupam Music, uses the first two lines of the song ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab’ as the bridge line. Hence, the song is titled ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab 2.0’.
The song is sung in a new arrangement by Syed Ami and Dilshad Nahar Kana.
The lyrics are by Snehashish Ghosh. The music is composed by Syed Ami, and the music is composed by A.N. Farhad.
Lyricist Snehashish Ghosh said, “The song has been completely rewritten keeping in mind the popularity of the previous song. Two lines from the previous song have been kept in the chorus part.
The song is being prepared for a big event on the occasion of Puja. I hope this song will touch the hearts of the audience like the previous song.”
In addition to lending his voice to the song, Syed Ami has also modeled for the music video. His wife, actress Aanchol Aankhi, is also with him.
They have previously modeled for several songs sung by Ami, including ‘Matal’, ‘Dui Chakkar Cycle’, and ‘Pori Paichhi Re’. Recently, a video shoot for the song ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab 2.0’ was held in a grand setting at FDC. A group of dancers participated in it along with Ami and Aanchol.
Sharing a picture of the two from that set, Ami said on Facebook that the video shoot for the song has been successfully completed. This new song is coming soon.
It is learned that ‘Assalamalaikum Biyain Saab 2.0’ will be released on September 11 under the banner of Anupam Music.
