Shooting for new Spider-Man begins
Entertainment Desk :
The latest film in the Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was released in 2021.
Made with a budget of $200 million, the film grossed nearly two billion dollars. Still, Marvel Studios took quite some time to announce the next installment.
Finally, a few months ago, the new sequel was officially announced, confirming that Tom Holland would reprise his role as Spider-Man.
The new movie has been titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The design of Spider-Man’s suit has also undergone slight changes.
The film is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Filming recently began in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sony Pictures has released behind-the-scenes footage from the first day of shooting. Tom Holland was seen participating in the shoot wearing the new suit. The first day featured an action scene of Spider-Man on top of a moving tank on the street.
In the one-minute video released last Sunday, many people were seen gathering on the streets of Glasgow to watch the shoot. Holland was waving at fans, chatting with them, and taking pictures. He even embraced a child dressed in a Spider-Man costume.
Brand New Day marks Tom Holland’s fourth movie as Spider-Man. Returning to the role after four years, the actor said, “I feel really good. This is my fourth time as Spider-Man. I hope everything goes well. I’m trying to give my best.
There’s no pressure. This time, wearing the Spider-Man suit feels quite different. This is the first time fans have come to our set. Meeting them has been an amazing experience.”
