A human chain was formed in Kulaura to protest the killing of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin in a random attack by armed men in Gazipur and the torture of journalists and lies against newsmen across the country On Monday, August 11, at noon, in the station Chaumuhani area of the municipal town,
The human chain program was organized by the Upazila Press Club Kulaura. The hour-long human chain program called for the establishment of a special tribunal to try journalist torture cases across the country, including the murder of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin, and for the protection of journalists, including speedy justice.

The interim government has called for the identification and swift prosecution of the killers of journalists who have been killed and tortured in the past, including those of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin and journalist Sagar-Runi.

Journalists in Kulaura expressed their anger in the human chain and said that journalists are no longer able to perform their professional duties.
