Panic runs high as vested quarters plan anarchy ahead of Aug 5

Syed Shemul Parvez :

Panic runs high among members of the public as there are visible signs of plots being hatched by vested quarters to create an anarchic situation in the country ahead of the August 5, the day marking downfall of the autocratic Sheikh Hasina government.

Sources concerned said the vested quarters have targeted certain vexed national issues to create confusion and division among the common people to make their plots successful.

As a symptom of the ill efforts, an extreme lack of coordination in the police department has been noticed. This has propelled concern about the overall law order situation of the country.

Since the formation of the interim government, one conspiracy after another has been going on in the country. The defeated forces made every effort to thwart the new government through various misadventures. As all efforts failed, the Awami League is now trying to capture the capital city Dhaka. Keeping this plan in mind, several leaders and activists have also undergone guerrilla training.

The main objective of the trained guerrilla force is to create a major anarchic situation in the country and capture Dhaka after receiving the green signal from the high command. For this, thousands of leaders and activists listed as part of the master plan are undergoing training in the country and abroad.

Many sensational information is coming out from some members of this gang who were recently arrested by the police. Several reliable sources in the government have confirmed the matter to the media.

Sources said that it is surprising that some of those who have undergone training are retired high government officials and employees. Who are now associated with Awami League politics. In addition, several leaders and activists of the banned Chhatra League have also undergone training. The training has been conducted in various places in the country, including the capital Dhaka and Gopalganj, in addition to Delhi and Kolkata.

The Awami League plans to continue this training until it achieves ultimate success. As part of this, 400 people were trained at a convention hall in the capital on July 8. Various anti-government slogans were raised at the convention center during the training.

Sources said that on receiving information about the training at the convention hall, various units of the law enforcement agencies conducted a raid in a residential area of the capital on July 13. Two people were arrested in the raid. They are Sohel Rana (48) and Shamima Nasrin Shampa (46).

When asked about the type of discussions held in the training program, the sources concerned, who did not want to be named, said that the arrested people gave a lot of important information in this regard. This information is being verified. They said that their main target was to capture Dhaka. For this, they were waiting for the instructions of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

According to the plan, thousands of leaders and activists listed from all over the country will come to Dhaka at once as soon as they receive the instructions from Sheikh Hasina.

When asked over the issue, Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SN Md Nazrul Islam told The New Nation that police is completely ready and conscious to face any sort of unworthy condition to maintain the law and order situation.

As Awami League is a big political party along with a lot of supporters who were in power for 15 years, so they must try to create anarchy to defeat the interim government. But our highest efforts are on to combat the criminals, Additional Commissioner said.

Participation of mass people with the police is needed to face any critical situation, he further added.

When asked the elite force Legal and media director Wing Commander MZM Intekhab Chowdhury, he told The New Nation that the elite force RAB is opt to tackle any unexpected situation with its skill detectives teams. We normally rectify the information whether it rumor or real before taking actions. Beside our routine jobs, we are emphasizing the current issue with quickness, Wing Commander Intekhab added.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury told the media on Wednesday at the Secretariat, “There is no threat of sabotage or security in the country. Everything is under the control of law enforcement agencies.
