Bangladesh Women’s Under-20 Women’s Football team will play Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women’s Under-20 Qualifiers. The Bangladesh Under-20 Women’s Football team will go to Laos tomorrow to take part in the AFC Women’s Under-20 Qualifiers. Bangladesh Women’s Football team have a tight schedule as they are taking part in the different competitions one after another. Bangladesh Women’s Football team took part in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers in Myanmar recently. Bangladesh Women’s Football team will play in the final round of the AFC Women’s Asia Cup. Bangladesh Women’s Under-20 Football team played in the South Asian Football (SAFF) Women’s Under-20 Championship in Dhaka recently. Bangladesh emerged unbeaten champions in that football competition.
To mark the upcoming football meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Thursday.
Captain of Bangladesh Women’s Under-20 Football team Afeida Khandaker said, ” We are going their to qualify in the final round. We are engaged in regular international football tournaments. The players, who played in the SAFF Women’s Under-20 Championship get enough time to take rest. The booters, who played in the Asian Cup Qualifiers also get leisure.”
Bangladesh have been billed in the group where South Korea, Laos and Timor-laste will compete. South Korea are the favourites. Laos are also tough opponent. Timur-Laste are comparatively easy opponent. Bangladesh will take on Laos on August 6, Bangladesh will face Timor-Laste on August 8 and Bangladesh will meet South Korea on August 10.
