National men’s and women’s Kabaddi Championship was inaugurated in Bogura on Tuesday on the occasion of Youth Festival-2025.
Deputy Commissioner of Bogura Hosna Afroza inaugurated the tournament at the field, which is adjacent to Shaheed Chandu Stadium in the morning. Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa, PPM, Treasurer of Kabaddi Federation Monirul Islam, Bogura District Sports Organization Member Secretary Toshaddeq Hossain, District Sports Officer Alamgir Hossain and others members of the district sports organization’s convening committee were present at the time.
The Bogura district men’s kabaddi team won the victory against the Sirajganj district team in the opening match.
The Bogura district women’s kabaddi team was also declared the winner as the opponent for the women’s opening match did not turn up.
Men and women’s kabaddi teams from eight districts of Rajshahi division participated in the tournament.
