BRUR students blockade against budget inequality
BRUR Correspondent :
Students have blockaded Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) in Rangpur and Modern More demanding to eliminate the eternal budget inequality towards North Bengal.
They warned that if their demands are not met within the next 48 hours, they will call for a North Bengal blockade and a non-cooperation movement from North Bengal.
On Monday (July 28), they took a position in front of the main gate of the university at 11:30 am and later took part in the Modern More blockade by circling the university.
During this time, students took the body if there is a body, give budget to Rangpur, take life if there is a life, give budget to Rangpur. Interim brokers were seen shouting slogans such as “Beware, be careful, don’t give radishes, bottles, bottles” etc.
At that time, Shahriar Sohag of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism said, Begum Rokeya University is run by only a few faculties, there is no auditorium and no TSC, we want quality education.
We want a full-fledged university. We want an independent commission for the overall development of North Bengal.
Another student said, Riya Murmu, we wanted to see the inequality that we have seen so far after the coup, the inequality in North Bengal will be eliminated, but we are seeing the same kind of budget inequality in North Bengal and budget inequality in the education sector under this interim government.
Modern Blockade They raised two demands, an independent regional commission should be formed to eliminate the eternal budget inequality in North Bengal and ensure the overall (i.e. education, health, agriculture and infrastructure) development of this region.
