The funeral of AK Ratul, the son of late film star Jasim and vocalist and frontman of Bangladesh’s popular rock band ‘Owned’, has been completed. Jasim’s son Ratul was laid to rest in his father’s grave at the Banani Graveyard in the capital on Monday.
Bangladesh Film Artists Association executive member SoniRahman confirmed the matter through a post on social media. Meanwhile, Ratul’s funeral was held at the Park Mosque in Sector 7 of Uttara.
In the post, SoniRahman wrote, “The burial of a child in his father’s grave. The second funeral of Ratul, the son of popular Bengali film star and freedom fighter JasimSaheb, was completed at 8 a.m. at the Banani Graveyard, and he was buried in JasimSaheb’s grave. I pray for the eternal peace of both their souls.”
