Khulna Jamaat demands speedy road construction

Khulna Bureau :
A huge human chain program has been organized by Ward 31 Jamaat-e-Islami demanding the speedy completion of the road work from the busiest Rupsha traffic intersection in Khulna metropolis to Khanjahan Ali Bridge.
The program was organised on Friday. Thousands of locals including Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic Movement participated in the program. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Khulna Metropolitan Secretary, former councilor Advocate Sheikh Jahangir Hussain Helal was the chief guest at the program.
Calling on those concerned to complete the work of this road immediately, he said that if anyone asks for a donation for this work, the locals will resist them, InshaAllah. He also threatened to launch a large-scale movement if the road is not repaired as soon as possible from this program.
Under the chairmanship of Ward No. 31 Ameer Nur Hussain Babul and the management of Secretary Firoz Mahmud, the special guests were Loantchara Thana Ameer Md. Mozaffar Hossain, former Thana Ameer Molla Nasir Uddin, Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Jico, Chhatrashibir leader Hafez Naim Islam, and labor leader Md. Sakhawat Hossain.
