Pakistan Cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Bangladesh Cricket team. Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in the first T20I match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on July 20.
Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the second T20I match at the same venue on July 22. Bangladesh will meet Pakistan in the third T20I game at the same venue on July 24. All the matches will start at 6:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Captain of Pakistan T20I Cricket team Salman Ali Agha said, ” We are not taking Bangladesh lightly. We were very much attentive during our training in Karachi. We were also took part in the full-fledged practice sessions there. We worked hard to come out from our weakness and we participated suck kind of practice sessions and conditions, which will help us to play against Bangladesh.”
Salman said, ” There is a rumour that I am going to be captain of Pakistan in three formats (Test, ODI, T20I). I cannot express my remark about that matter. None of the authority discussed with me about the captaincy in ODI format.”
It may be mentioned that Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan have been not included in the Pakistan T20I squad, which will play against Bangladesh. Salman revealed Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi will play for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2026.
