Inception workshop held at BRRI

Inception workshop of the project titled ‘Spatial Distribution and Mapping of Total and Available Phosphorus in Long-Term Phosphate Fertilized Soils of Bangladesh’ was held on Tuesday at the Conference room of training complex, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), Gazipur.

Vice Chancellorof GazipurAgricultural UniversityProfessorDr. GKM MustafizurRahmanwas the chief guest in the workshop whileBRRI Director GeneralDr. Mohammad Khalequazzaman presided.

BRRI Director (Research) Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam and Director (Administration and Common Service) Dr. MunnujanKhanamwere the special guests.

Dr. Ravi Naidu, Distinguished LaureateProfessor and Managing Director of crc for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (crcCARE), Australia was present as theguest of honour.

The key-note paperwas presented by Dr. Muhammad SajidurRahman,Principal Scientific Officer of BRRI Soil Science Division.
