The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has emerged as the only Bangladeshi institution to secure a spot in the Top 60 of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025, ranking 54th globally among 1,253 universities from 87 countries.
This remarkable achievement, announced on July 10, 2025, during the 5th Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) in Dumaguete City, Philippines, underscores ULAB’s consistent rise in global innovation rankings. The university has climbed steadily from 100th in 2021, to 96th in 2022, 75th in 2023, and 69th in 2024.
ULAB was one of seven Bangladeshi universities included in this year’s WURI rankings. However, it stood alone in the prestigious Global Top 60 category, reflecting its leadership in academic innovation and global relevance.
In addition to its overall ranking, ULAB earned top-tier positions in several specialized categories:
11th in Crisis Management
12th in Ethics and Integrity
14th in Culture/Values
These rankings highlight ULAB’s commitment to responsible education, ethical standards, and cultural enrichment, reinforcing its reputation as a forward-thinking institution on the global stage.
