Fruit festival held in Rangpur

A fruit festival called ‘Falahar’ was organised by the initiative of the Swarshaili Recitation, Presentation and Debate Pracha Kendra of Rangpur.
At the fruit festival organized at the Knowledge Care Academy office of Swarshaili on Friday morning, everyone present tasted many fruits including mango, jam, jackfruit, kamaranga, golapjam, dragon, amra, rajfal.
The discussion session on the nutritional value of fruits and the benefits of eating fruits was presided over by Professor Mohammad Shah Alam, director of Swarshaili and former professor of the Bengali Department of Carmichael College.
The convener of the festival committee, Majedul Islam Majed, delivered the welcome speech. Abdus Salam extended greetings. Swattwi Shah Al Maruf, Mahmudunnabi Babul, MesbaurRahman and others spoke as guests. They called for planting more fruit trees and emphasized on eating enough fruits together with the whole family. Because it will reduce diseases and improve health. Mehdi Marsud presented the program.
