MA Malik held a views exchange meeting with journalists on the occasion of Mirza Fakhrul’s arrival in Sylhet.
On July 7, at the initiative of Alhaj MA Malik, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee members Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain and BNP leaders will participate in a prayer, milad and discussion meeting in South Surma Upazila, wishing for the health and longevity of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health and longevity of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Alhaj MA Malik, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council and President of BNP UK, exchanged views with journalists on the occasion of the arrival of BNP central leaders in Sylhet.
He held this exchange of views at his residence in Tetoli, South Surma, on Thursday (June 19) afternoon after performing the holy Hajj.
Sylhet District BNP Vice President and South Surma Upazila BNP President Haji Sahab Uddin, Sylhet District BNP Organizing Secretary Shamim Ahmed, Balaganj Upazila BNP President Emran Rabbani, Jubo Dal leaders Shafran Ahmed, Liton Ahmed, etc. Leaders of BNP, its affiliates and allied organizations were also present the Meeting.
During the exchange of views, Alhaj MA Malik said, “I, along with all the leaders and activists of BNP in the area, are happy with the arrival of national leaders together in South Surma area, i.e. Sylhet.” He also said, “I want to be by the side of the people of Sylhet-3 constituency (South Surma-Fenchuganj-Balaganj) in their happiness and sorrows for the rest of my life.” Even after not being in the country for a long time, I will be forever indebted to the people of this constituency for the love they are giving me. I will always be by their side in any calamity.”
He also said, “If I get the nomination of Paddy Sheaf in the next national election and am elected with your valuable votes, I will always work for the development of Sylhet-3 constituency. Our main goal will be to create a modern constituency according to the needs of the people.
