Shithi’s Urdu song with Shafqat Amanat Ali

Bangladeshi singer Shithi Saha sang an Urdu song for the first time.
Pakistani popular pop and classical singer, songwriter and composer Shafqat Amanat Ali has sung the song titled ‘Do Piyase Dil’ along with Shithi.
Shafqat and Shithi are seen in the song’s video, directed by Asif Mahmud.
The song is dedicated to Pakistani noted ghazal artiste Mehdi Hassan, music director Robin Ghosh, and musician Mehnaz.
Shithi Saha wrote on social media, “It is my first Urdu song with Shafqat Amanat Ali. I feel truly lucky and honored to be a part of this song. As a fan of Shafqatji, this is a great opportunity for me. The song is dedicated to three legends of Pakistan’s music industry.”
Pakistan’s Shafqat Amanat Ali sung many songs for Bollywood movies. He lent his voice for playback songs in films like ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Raj 3’, ‘Jannat 2’, ‘Murder 3’ and many more.
Although she first sang in Urdu, Shithi Saha had previously sung in Bengali song with Shafqat Amanat Ali. Their duet song titled ‘Raatjaga Pakhi’ was released in 2021. ABM Sumon was the model with Shithi in the video of that song.
Shithi met Shafqat Amanat Ali two years before that. At that time, Shithi said that during the performance of singer Shafqat Amanat Ali at the Dhaka International Folk Fest in 2019, she was singing in the audience
in front of the stage.
At one point, Shafqat noticed Shithi. The Pakistani singer invited her on stage. Then the two of them sang together. The two then discussed the song. They planned to sing together.
It is noted that Shithi sang with Salim Merchant in Bollywood earlier this year.The song titled ‘Brishty Bilash’ was released last February.
It was the first Bengali song sung by Salim Merchant.
This song was written by Someshwar Ali and composed and arranged by Sajid Sarkar.
