Team Group’s late MD laid to rest

Team Group’s Managing Director Abdullah Hil Rakib was laid to rest on Saturday at the Shaheen graveyard in Dhaka, following a Namaz-e-Janaza held at the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) office in Uttara.
His body arrived in Dhaka from Toronto, Canada, on June 13 via a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, confirmed BGMEA Administrator Md Anwar Hossain.
Rakib, who also served as a former vice-president of the BGMEA, tragically lost his life on June 8 along with his friend Md Saifuzzaman, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines pilot, when their canoe overturned in Sturgeon Lake, Ontario.
