Entertainment Desk:

“I only kill in-humans, not humans” – this chilling line sets the tone for the gripping
82-second teaser of ‘Insaaf’, Sanjoy Somadder’s latest
movie into the underworld
of crime and retribution.

Starring Sariful Razz, Tasnia Farin and Mosharraf Karim, ‘Insaaf’ hints at a gritty action thriller set within the dark, complex layers of a fractured society, said a press release.
Slated for release this Eid-ul-Azha, the film promises to deliver high-voltage drama, driven by morally ambiguous characters and an emotionally charged narrative.

At the centre of the story is Yusuf, played by Razz, a fierce and volatile gangster whose chilling post-murder ritual-showering in milk-adds a disturbing depth to his character.

Tasnia Farin appears as a determined and sharp-witted police officer, while Mosharraf Karim assumes a cryptic role that blends ambiguity with intrigue, hinting at a morally grey vigilante who targets wrongdoers but spares the innocent.

Beyond the bullets and bloodshed, the teaser touches upon deeper societal issues.

Themes of civic frustration, lack of safety for artists, and the everyday indignities faced by ordinary citizens emerge through powerful dialogues.

Fazlur Rahman Babu appears as a victim of systemic neglect, while Karim’s character emerges as an avenger, complicating the boundaries between justice and vengeance.

Adding further dimension is a hint of romance between the fresh on-screen pairing of Tasnia Farin and Razz, suggesting emotional stakes woven through the action-heavy plot.

Complemented by a pulsating score from Arafat Mohsin Nidhi, the teaser offers a compelling blend of suspense, intensity, and reflection, suggesting ‘Insaaf’ is more than just another underworld saga.

It appears to be a story where justice takes unconventional forms and vengeance walks a tightrope with virtue.

As anticipation mounts, ‘Insaaf’ stands ready to offer a hard-hitting, thought-provoking cinematic experience this festive season.
