Workshop at BOU Sylhet regional centre

Under the direct instructions of the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University, Prof. Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, a 4th batch workshop on “Student Service Simplification and Service Quality Assurance” was organised by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university at Sylhet Regional Center on Sunday.

The workshop was attended by the Director of IQAC of Bangladesh Open University, Prof. Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam, the chief guest and keynote speaker of the event, said in his speech, “BOU does not conduct educational programs only for qualified students like ordinary universities.

Rather, it is making a huge contribution to the entire education system of the country by conducting educational programs for the neglected, dropout and inefficient students of the entire country along with the qualified students.

By spreading educational programs throughout the country under one umbrella, BOU is bringing the light of education to every home. Therefore, the officers and employees of BOU are more humane towards the students, In addition to playing a responsible role, they will be able to contribute to ensuring the quality of education and facilitating student services.

In addition, the workshop will discuss in detail ways to make the student service process more advanced, timely and effective.

The organisers expressed hope that such training workshops will play an important role in further enhancing the quality of student services at Bangladesh Open University.

The workshop was chaired by Mr. Md. Mokshedar Rahman, Regional Director of Sylhet Regional Center. He said, “I am very hopeful that such training workshops will play an important role in further enhancing the quality of student services at Bangladesh Open University.”
