Three matches of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football will be held at three separate venues today.
On the day, league leaders Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Chittagong Abahani Limited at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla at 4:00pm, Bashundhara Kings will meet Bangladesh Police Football Club at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital at 6:00pm and Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club will face Brothers Union Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur at 4:00pm.
On the following day on Saturday (May 16), Abahani Limited, Dhaka will play against Fortis Football Club at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla while Dhaka Wanderers Club meet old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
After the 14 round matches, Mohammedan Sporting Club dominated the league table with 35 points, while Chittagong Abahani Limited, who were already relegated form the league, have three points playing the same number of outings.
Bashundhara Kings stood third position in the league table with 25 points, while Bangladesh Police Football Club took place sixth position in the table with 20 points.
Brothers Union Club stood fifth position in the league table with 20 points, while Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club stood eighth position in the league table securing 16 points.
Abahani Limited stood second position in the league table with 28 points, while Fortis FC stood seventh position with 19 points.
