BSF-BGB flag meeting Citizen exchange between 2 nations

Two Bangladeshi farmers were allegedly apprehended by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near the Biral border. In response, local residents from the Bangladeshi side detained two Indian nationals.
After the incidents, a flag meeting between the BGB and the BSF took place on Friday night at the Biral border in Dinajpur.
During the meeting, two Bangladeshi and two Indian nationals were officially handed over to their respective authorities.
Rezaul Karim, commander of the Dharamjoyn Border Outpost (BOP) under BGB’s 42nd Battalion, confirmed that the meeting was held around 8:30 pm.
Earlier in the day, two Bangladeshi farmers were allegedly apprehended by BSF personnel near the Biral border.
In response, local residents from the Bangladeshi side detained two Indian nationals.
According to eyewitnesses, the two Bangladeshi farmers-Masud and Enamul-were harvesting paddy close to the border when BSF personnel reportedly entered Bangladeshi territory and detained them.
Following the incident, agitated locals captured two Indian farmers-Abinash Tudu and Philip Soren-residents of Anantapur village under the jurisdiction of Gangarampur police station in West Bengal’s Dakshin Dinajpur district.
