Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Chairman, First Security Islami Bank PLC has been elected as the Chairman of the Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh (CSBIB).
The decision was taken at the 69th meeting of the Central Shariah Board Executive Committee held at the boardroom of the head office of First Security Islami Bank recently.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan is serving as the Chairman of the Islamic Banks Consultative Forum and Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB).
