‘Golap er Naam’ – new song of Meghdol

‘Meghdol’ band has released a new track titled ‘Golap er Naam’. The music video for the song premiered on the band’s official YouTube channel last Friday.
This marks the seventh track from their third album ‘Aluminium Er Dana’.
Written and composed by Shibu Kumer Shill, the music video has been directed byband member Shourov Sarker, who previously directed the video for ‘Maya Cycle’.
Speaking to leading Bengali daily about the song, guitarist Rasheed Sharif Shoaib said, “It’s a love song. We’ve lived with it for a long time-we began working on it back in 2017. So, this song carries many memories for us.”According to Shoaib, the album ‘Aluminium Er Dana’ will comprise a total of 10 songs, with the remaining three scheduled for release later this year.
Current members of Meghdol include Shibu Kumer Shill (lyrics, composition, vocals), Mejbaur Rahman Sumon (lyrics, composition, vocals), Rasheed Sharif Shoaib (vocals, guitar), Amzad Hossain (drums), MG Kibria (bass), Tanbeer Dawood Rony (keyboard), and Shourov Sarker (flute, clarinet, and saxophone).
