Hailed from Bogura, Zinia Zafrin Luipa is a popular singer of this generation.
She was awarded at the national level for singing folk songs as a child. That is why she has a special love for folk songs.
However, when Luipa started her journey as a professional musician, she mainly sang modern songs.
But a few days ago, it occurred to her that since requests to sing folk songs were coming in at various stage shows in the country and abroad, folk songs could be sung at those shows.
With this thought in mind, Luipa started singing folk songs regularly in stage shows.
Now Luipa sings folk songs on TV shows and also in recorded versions. That is, Luipa combines both folk and modern songs in any TV show or stage show.

Meanwhile, Luipa has sung the new song titled ‘Ghumaila Ghumailare Bondhu’ for RTV’s musical show ‘Music Station- Season 6’ under the direction of the show’s director, Nur Hossain Hira.
The TV channel stated that the song was recorded at that location, as the exact names of the lyricist and composer are not known.
The music of the song has been arranged by Tuhin Ahmed (Al Amin).

While talking about her new song, Luipa told this correspondent, “Since I was awarded for singing folk songs as a child, I’m now focusing on folk songs as well as modern songs.
Because there are requests to sing folk songs at various stage shows in the country and abroad.
Keeping this in mind, at the request of the audience, I’m now performing folk songs regularly. I have already performed a few live folk songs. I have sung the song ‘Ghumaila Ghumailare Bondhu’ before on various shows.
That’s why when Hira Bhai asked me to sing a folk song, I chose this song. The lyrics and melody of the song captivated me, and maybe the audience did too. The song has a very beautiful musical arrangement.
Overall, I liked the whole arrangement. It’s really up to the audience to judge how I sang. But there was no lack of effort on my part.”
Luipa also said that she will perform in two different stage shows on April 12 and 14.
Luipa’s first and most talked about playback in the movie was the song ‘Dhire Dhire’. This is a song from the movie ‘Poran’.
Later, Luipa also lent her voice for the playback song titled ‘Pagol Mon’ for movie ‘Prem Pritir Bondhon’.
Lastly, Luipa rendered two playback songs for the government grants movie titled ‘Nil Akashe Pakhi Ure’. This movie is currently under production.
