Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two separate cases against S Alam Group owner Mohammed Saiful Alam and his wife Farzana Parveen for illegally acquiring assets worth Tk 1,539.85 crore.
ACC Director General (Prevention) Akhtar Hossain confirmed this information at the commission’s headquarters in Dhaka’s Segunbagicha on Tuesday.
In one of the cases, Saiful Alam was made accused of acquiring wealth worth Tk 796.28 crore illegally.
In the other case, Farzana was accused of amassing illegal wealth worth Tk 743.57 crore.
