Chief adviser to hold meeting with 127 senior police officials

Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus is set to hold a special meeting with senior police officials. The discussion will include 127 high-ranking officers, focusing on key law enforcement issues.

Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder made the disclosure to the media during a briefing at Foreign Service Academy on Sunday.

The chief adviser will listen to field level police officials and give necessary directives regarding the law and order, Azad said.

Azad said Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam will deliver a welcome speech while six field level police officers will speak on six focal points.

“It will be a special meeting as such a meeting was not held in the past,” Azad told reporters.

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahammad were also present.
