Country’s both the bourses– Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)– today witnessed an upward trend like earlier as investors continued their buying spree on large-cap issues amid optimism.
DSEX, the broad index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, advanced by 9.5 points to settle at 5,226 points, as against 5,216 points in the previous trading session, reports BSS.
Although investors remained active on both sides of the trading fence, buyers ended up on the dominant side riding on the last-hour buying activity.
