Daffodil International University (DIU) is going to celebrate its 12th Foundation Anniversary today at Ashulia Permanent Campus of the university. DIU has arranged a weeklong Inter department sports competition, math Olympiad, cultural competition and IT Quiz to mark the anniversary in a colorful manner and festive mood.
Dan W Mozena, US ambassador to Dhaka is expected to grace the program as chief guest while many other country’s renowned personalities, celebrities and dignitaries will attend the program.
The day long program will include Bus Rally, Pitha Utshab, Blood Donation Program, Discussion, Picnic, Tree Plantation Games and Sports, Fun Events and Raffle Draw, Picnic and Live Concert.
DIU started its academic activities with only 67 students in January 24, 2002. Now the number of enrolled student is more than 12000. Due to its quality education and outstanding performance the university could make position among ten top graded private universities of Bangladesh as per evaluation of the UGC.
DIU’s permanent campus in a green and serene environment holds academic building, administrative blocks, assemble halls, departmental faculties and an ICT center, Football Play Ground, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Basket Ball Court, Shahid Minar and Tennis Court.
