Fakhrul, Khasru, Barrister Zaima attend US prayer breakfast

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Barrister Zaima Rahman participated in the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, attended the prestigious event as a representative of her father, Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of BNP.

The National Prayer Breakfast, an annual gathering attended by prominent political, diplomatic, business, and cultural figures from around the world, commenced at 7:00 AM on February 6 and lasted for seven hours.

Traditionally held on the first Thursday of February, this year’s event saw the participation of U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, senators, members of Congress, and distinguished global leaders from various sectors.
