Dithi Anwar’s 2025 starts with songs

Popular musician Dithi
Anwar’s 2025 started with songs. She started the New Year by singing her own original songs on BTV’s musical
programme ‘Sangeeta’.
Dithi also performed music
on BTV’s ‘Geetibichitra’
programme.
The work of recording
the songs of these two programmes has been completed.
Dithi in ‘Sangeeta’
programme, rendered an original song written by her father, renowned lyricist, film director and producer Gazi Mazharul Anwar and composed by Pial Hasan and in ‘Geetibichitra’
programme, she also rendered her father’s written song
which music is composed
by Apu Aman.
The two programmes will
be aired on BTV soon.
Dithi Anwar was quite excited as the year began with singing two original songs on two
different programmes on national broadcaster BTV.
While talking in this regard, Dithi Anwar told this correspondent, “At this time,
I became more focused
on original songs. I have
several original popular songs. Sometimes there are requests to sing those songs on TV or stage shows. To tell the truth, I knew that I wanted to please the audience. So, keeping the listeners in mind, but now
I’m more focused on original songs. Several more original songs written by my father are going to be released. I am very optimistic about these new songs. Expectations are high with these new original songs because those who initially heard the songs praised these songs. Because of that
expectations have increased.”
Meanwhile Dithi Anwar
will perform live music on Maasranga TV today (24 January). She will be performing music on Maasranga TV’s regular programme ‘Tomay Gaan Shonabo’ from 11:00pm.
Dithi informed that she will perform music at an event to be organised by Dhaka Reporters Unity on January 31.
Besides, on the same day at night, she will also perform music in a function organised by Gulshan Youth Club at her father’s tribute. Three other artistes will perform music
with her.
Dithi will perform music in a show in Dhaka on February 8.
