The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced a change in the timing for Friday’s metro rail schedule in an effort to enhance passenger convenience. The metro will now commence operations at 3pm, instead of the previously scheduled 3:30pm.
The new schedule will take effect from Friday (January 17), reads a DMTCL office order issued on Thursday.
According to the DMTCL, the metro rail will operate from Uttara North to Motijheel from 3pm to 9pm and from Motijheel to Uttara North from 3:20pm to 9:40pm every Friday.
Meanwhile, single journey tickets will be available for purchase at Uttara North Metro Rail Station from 2:45pm on Friday and at Motijheel Metro Rail Station from 3:05pm.
In addition, Rapid Passes can be purchased, and MRT/Rapid passes can be topped up, it added.
