The Inauguration of newly elected Executive Council of Greater Chittagong Samity Gazipur for 2025-2026 was held at a local hotel. After winning the election, Mohammad Sohel Sadattook oath as the president and Dr Debjit Roy as the general secretary.
The election was conducted under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. SM Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of the Election Commission 2024 of Greater Chittagong Samity Gazipur; and Election Commissioner Member Dr. Faridul Alam. Former President Shahidul AlamJhinuk, Chairman of the Advisory Council MA Mahmudur Rahman, former President Helal Uddin Ahmed and General Secretary of Duet Student Forum Chittagong (Gangchil) Maimul Hasan, elected members of the new executive council and other leaders were also present at the event. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by former president Shahidul Alam Jhinuk. Mohammad Sohel Sadat, newly elected president of Greater Chittagong Samiti Gazipur and also the chairman of Shin Shin Group said, “Greater Chittagong Samiti Gazipur is making a unique contribution to the socio-economic development of the country, especially Gazipur.”
