IDLC Investments gets new MD

Mesbah Uddin Ahmed has been appointed as the Managing Director of IDLC Investments Limited, effective immediately.

This appointment follows the board’s recommendation and approval from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, who had previously been serving as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Head of Retail Business at IDLC Finance PLC since August 1, 2024, brings a wealth of experience and an impressive track record in the financial sector to his new role.With over 29 years of corporate experience, including 25 years in banking, Mesbah Uddin Ahmed joined IDLC in 2010 as the Head of Structured Finance and Corporate-Dhaka Region. During his 13-year tenure, he has significantly contributed to the organisation, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic acumen, says a press release.
