Baby Naznin, Jaya Ahsan and Fahim Ahmed are receiving CJFB’s special honours in music, film and journalism.
Singer Baby Naznin in music, actress Jaya Ahsan in film and Jamuna TV CEO Fahim Ahmed in journalism are getting the honour for their contributions.
On December 28, a ceremony organised at the Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka will be handed over to them.
On December 28, the award ceremony organised by the Cultural Journalists’ Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB) will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka.
The CJFB Performance Awards 2023 will be given to artistes based on film, music and OTT performances in 2023.
Special guest in the event will be cultural advisor Mostafa Sarwar Farooki. Noted journalist and cultural personality Shafiq Rehman is getting lifetime honour this year. Special honours will be given to Baby Naznin, Jaya Ahsan and Fahim Ahmed.
Regarding talking about to get the special honour from CJFB, singer Baby Naznin told this correspondent, “A source of pride and joy for any artiste who receives the award. We don’t want any obstacles. We expect artists to be valued as artistes, thanks to CJFB for honouring me.”
Actress Jaya Ahsan shared her feelings by this way, “Any achievement in art appreciation inspires and honours the artist. I feel good about it. I give thanks to CJFB.”
Fahim Ahmed said, “As a journalist, I am proud and happy to receive this honour from journalists.”
