India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday confirmed that Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will visit Bangladesh on December 9 to strengthen bilateral ties.
At a weekly briefing in New Delhi, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will meet his Bangladeshi counterpart, Md Jashim Uddin, along with attending several other meetings during his visit to Dhaka.
The Indian foreign secretary will hold foreign office consultations with his Bangladesh counterpart on December 9.
“This is part of our structured interactions with the Bangladesh side,” said the MEA spokesperson.
