Md. Ashraful Islam, Judge of District and Session Judge Court, Bagerhat in a judgment delivered on Thursday afternoon, convicted one Hasib Sardar (27) to suffer RI (rigorous imprisonment) for life and to pay a fine of Tk.10 thousand in default to suffer another rigorous imprisonment for 6 months more on the charge of killing one Mofiz Sardar of Morrelganj Upazila in the district.
The convicted Hasib Sardar is the son of one Lokman Sardar of villager Kumarkhali under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district. At the time of the delivery of the judgment the convicted was present in the court.
