After a convincing victory over hosts Oman, spirited Bangladesh National U-21 Hockey team will face strong Pakistan in their second Pool-B match of the Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey scheduled to be held today at Oman Hockey Stadium in Muscat, Oman.
The match will start at 18:45pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Bangladesh earlier made a winning start in the tournament beating Oman 3-1 in their Pool-B opening match held on Tuesday last.
Bangladesh will play their remaining group matches against Malaysia and China on November 30 and December 1 respectively at the same venue.
The eleventh edition of the Junior Asia Cup will continue till December 4, with ten teams, divided into two groups, are taking part in the event.
The top six teams will qualify for the next year’s Junior Hockey World Cup.
Bangladesh Junior Hockey team earlier confirmed their spot in the Junior Asia Cup after emerging champions in the qualifiers with a 7-6 victory over hosts Oman in the final held in January.
