Film director Shah Alam Mondal dies

Film director Shah Alam Mondal has died
at United Hospital today at 6:15pm
on Saturday evening. He was 47.
His death was confirmed by Deputy Secretary General Apurbo Rana of the Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association.
Shah Alam Mondal was known for directing notable films such as ‘Bhalobasha Simahin’, which marked the debut of the popular actress Pori Moni.
Other films directed by him include ‘Apon Manush’, ‘Dongiri’, and ‘Lockdown Love Story’ (2022).
Shah Alam Mondal began his career in film in 2011 with the movie ‘Sotyer Joy’.
He also has experience working as an assistant director alongside the likes of Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Badiul Alam and F I Manik.
