A case has been filed in Narayanganj, naming former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the primary accused, along with 61 others, on charges of attempted murder.
The list of accused includes former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kamal (60), Awami League General Secretary and former Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader (60), Jahangir Kabir Nanak (60), Mahbubur Rahman Hanif (60), Shamim Osman (55), Nazrul Islam Babu (52), Selim Osman (60), Shah Nizam (52), Azmeri Osman (50), Ayon Osman (40), and former intelligence chief Harun (50). Additionally, 150-200 unidentified individuals have also been accused in the case.
The case was filed at Siddhirganj Police Station on Friday, November 22, following an order from Narayanganj’s Chief Judicial Magistrate Court-8.
Earlier, Md. Shah Alam, the father of Md. Mursalin Alam (22), who was injured during an anti-discrimination protest, filed a petition in the court seeking to register the case.
