Yunus at Secretariat for 1st time, joins meeting

Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus went to the Secretariat for the first time on Wednesday and presided over a meeting of the advisory council.

Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul and Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan welcomed him there at 11 am.

Centering his visit, tight security has been beefed up in and around the Secretariat. Visitor access to the Secretariat was restricted.

Previously all meetings of the advisory council under this administration were held at the State Guest House Jamuna.

The Advisory Council has decided to suspend any further budget allocation for the Mujib Borsho celebrations from the 2024-25 financial year, according to a press release from the Chief Adviser’s Office.
