Arif Hasan, managing director of private television channel Desh TV, had been arrested from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, said police early Sunday and Dhaka court on Sunday placed Arif Hasan on a two-day remand in a case over an alleged attempted murder case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahin Reza passed the order on Sunday
Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media and public relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said a team of Airport Police Station held him from the airport on Saturday night.
