Police have recovered the body of a man named Md. Emen Ali (52) from the Link Road in Fatullah, Narayanganj. On Saturday, locals spotted the body lying on the Dhaka-bound lane of the overpass in the Bhuiyagarh area of the Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road and informed the police.
Upon receiving the news, Fatullah Police Station officers recovered the body and sent it to the morgue at the Sadar General (Victoria) Hospital for autopsy. There were injury marks on the back of the head and the ear, and one of his wrists was broken.
Initially unidentified, the body was identified using modern technology by a team from the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). The deceased, Emen Ali, was the son of Abdur Rashid Mia from Ramchandra village in Islampur Upazila, Jamalpur district. At the time of recovery, he was wearing a red and navy-blue striped T-shirt and a white lungi.
