Osman Mridha, Managing Director of Arafat Developers and Builders Ltd (ADBL). He is working lots on developing the real-estate sector of the country.
He is an honorable non-resident Bangladeshis (NRB) and has honored with CIP award by the Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry of Bangladesh.
He thinks CIP award has increased his responsibility to the country. He vowed to work for the country and its people always.
In an interview with The New Nation, Osman Mridha talked different issues including Diasporas contributions to the country and their problems and potentials.
He also focused on his companies contributions on the real-estate and housing sector in Bangladesh.
Osman Mridha said ADBL become registered as a private limited company in 2011. It becomes one of the largest real estate companies in the country in private sector. The company increased its capital from stock markets with its IPO. ADBL achieved peoples’ trust by providing services to the clients honestly and in caring manners.
Replying to a query over privately managed housing industry, Osman Mridha said, this sector contributing enough to the national economy with many ways.
The housing sector is providing residences to the people and contributing the economy with its very important activities.
Housing sector is not only providing houses but also creating employment.
It has about 300 backward linkage industries and businesses like bricks, ceramics, tiles, paints, rods, cements, electric wears, several fittings, pipes, aluminums, sands and many others.
He said, REHAB, the lone organisation of housing sector hand over 15 thousands ready apartments a significant part of those have bought by non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).
He suggested the government to give necessary policy support for more rise of the sector to boost the country’s economy.
Osman Mridha said his company started its job with successful completions of its first building and handing over apartments to its clients in time keeping its promise. After handing over some apartments to the clients in several housing projects mostly in Dhaka, ADBL gained peoples’ trust shortly.
The real estate company also has involved in constructing shopping malls and apartments beyond the capital city.
Replying to a query, Osman Mridha said, ADBL has a mission and vision of creating trustworthy housing brand to the people of the country.
He said ensuring clients’ security and comfort, fulfilling their desires and demands over housing, using highest efficient constructions, green technology and skilled engineering is the main thing in his company’s goals.
The MD of the company said they have given priority of constructing environment friendly and comfortable housing for the people.
Upholding this view, they are developing lands and constructing residential and commercial buildings across the country.
“Our one of the main target is to give standard and quality residences to our clients with highest services, transparent, skilled and honest manner,” he said.
“It doesn’t matter that if the clients live or sell their apartments or houses, we are promised to hand over those ensuring highest quality,” Osman Mridha said.
“We think our efforts are not only a trading or buy and sell matter, but these are relations which is more than business,” the CIP said.
The Managing Director said they have given priority to maintain close and heartiest relations with their clients for long time.
“We imagine a future where the clients believe us, trust on us as a brand on which everyone could depend without any hesitation,” he said.
“We are trying to make ADBL as a trustworthy brand to all in the real estate sector,” he said.
The management of the company gives top priority to understand the clients choice, desires and demands over their apartments or buildings or lands, Osman Mridha added.
He said also that they always give right and important advices to the clients over constructing or selling their houses.
“We think that constructing a home for living or for selling is very much significant for a person and we give highest importance to the matter,” the MD said.
“In this view, we give necessary and important advices about the latest information to our clients as per our vast experiences of the real estate sector of the country,” he said.
