Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the National Committee of BNP, said that the unity called by Tarek Rahman should be kept intact and we should proceed towards the elections.
Fascists are still lurking. These words were said by the chief guest before the rally organised by Chattagram metropolis, North and South district BNP on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on Saturday. Amir Khosru said, there is no end to the story of Sheikh Hasina’s downfall.
I hear new stories every day. They did this, they did that. For the last 15 years we have protested on the streets, sacrificed our lives, been assassinated, and gone to jail. Our leaders and activists have to flee their homes, lose their jobs, lose their businesses, and become disabled.
We want democratic conditions to return to the country after the departure of Sheikh Hasina. Request to the government, proceed towards the elections by reforming as many reforms as there is a chance to do on the basis of national consensus. BNP’s Chattagram Metropolis, North and South District leaders and activists were present at the time.
