Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has claimed that a fresh conspiracy is unfolding regarding the upcoming national elections.
Parwar remarked that although many have called for a compromise with the Awami League, the pain of the martyrs’ families remains fresh, and their blood has not yet dried.
Speaking at the District Rokon Conference at the Darshana Auditorium in Chuadanga on Friday afternoon (November 8), Parwar emphasized the need for cooperation with the interim government to rebuild the country. He acknowledged that the current government is grappling with numerous challenges.
Parwar continued, “Sheikh Hasina is engaging in anti-state conspiracies from abroad. Various audios and videos are circulating, with some claiming she will return to the country at any time, while others suggest the work will be completed by December.”
He further stated, “The people of this country will not allow such a cruel, brutal ruler to return to power.” Parwar went on to assert that Hasina and her government have no moral right to participate in politics. “Sheikh Hasina is not just a fascist; she is also a sadist,” he said, adding that the crimes committed by Hasina cannot be ignored merely because of her authoritarianism.
The event, chaired by Advocate Ruhul Amin, Ameer of Chuadanga District Jamaat, featured several prominent speakers, including Mubarak Hossain, Director of the Jessore-Kushtia region, regional team member Monowar Hossain, Dr. Alamgir Biswas, and Meherpur District Amir Taj Uddin Khan.
The inaugural speech was delivered by Azizur Rahman, the Naib-e- Amir of the district Jamaat, while the event was hosted by Advocate Asaduzzaman, the district Jamaat’s Secretary.
