BOU gets new treasurer

Dean of Agriculture and Rural Development Prof Dr. Abul Hasnat Mohammad Shamim joined as new treasurer of Bangladesh Open University (BOU).
A circular signed by Deputy-Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Division under Education Ministry Md Shahinur Islam issued on Thursday. Dr Shamim was born in an aristocratic Muslim family in Chapainawabganj district in 1976.
He passed the SSC examination in 1991, HSC examination in 1993.
Later, he obtained his BSc. Degree in 1997 and MSc. in 1998 with first classes in both examinations from Soil Science Department of Dhaka University.
