Former deputy registrar of Eastern University Md. Harun-or Rashid has joined the new registrar of Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur. He was appointed to the post of registrar on the recommendation of the search committee meeting constituted by the decision of the 108th Syndicate meeting of the university. He joined the post on Tuesday.
Dr. Md. Haroon-ur-Rashid received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Department of Islamic History and Culture, Rajshahi University. Later he obtained MPhil and PhD degree from the same department.
Md. Haroon-ur-Rashid interacted with the heads of various departments, offices and branches of the university. All present in the meeting welcomed the newly appointed registrar.
