Bayer Cropscience Limited inaugurated Dhaka Office at Update Tower. The office, designed based on Next Normal Office Concept represents Bayer’s commitment to modern work practices and adaptability. His Excellency Mr. Achim Troster, Ambassador of Germany to Bangladesh attended the inauguration along with representative from other German companies located in Dhaka.

The event began with a warm welcome from Zahidul Islam, Managing Director of Bayer CropScience Ltd., Bangladesh. In his address, he reflected on the rich history of Bayer in the country, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting local farmers and the agricultural sector. “Bayer CropScience has been a dedicated partner to Bangladeshi farmers for many years, delivering innovative solutions that improve crop yields and promote sustainability. Our new office represents not just a change of location, but a renewed commitment to our mission of advancing agriculture in Bangladesh”, said Zahidul Islam.

Ambassador Troster also spoke at the event sharing his insights on the agricultural landscape in Bangladesh. He interacted with Bayer personnel and engaged in discussions about the role of agriculture in ensuring food security and economic resilience, underscoring the strong ties between Germany and Bangladesh, particularly in the fields of technology and sustainable development.

The presence of representatives from other German companies highlighted the importance of international collaboration in addressing the challenges faced by the agricultural sector. They expressed their enthusiasm for Bayer’s initiatives and their support for the company’s efforts to foster agricultural innovation.
