Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists – (BFUJ) Secretary General and the country’s popular journalist leader Quader Gani Chowdhury said that the defeat of the media means the defeat of the people. And the defeat of the people means the defeat of the state. So the media cannot be allowed to be defeated.
He said, the courage to tell the truth is the motto of journalism. Honest journalism establishes truth. Honest journalism worships truth. Objective journalism advances society, develops democracy. So journalism should be done with honesty and devotion. Without honesty, there is no journalism. If the pen of journalists is free, the societybenefited
